Esther and Sofía are sisters who run a small hotel with their father in the pretty village of Benicàssim.
Esther, the eldest, is sensible, hardworking and very responsible, so she ends up putting in more hours at the hotel than she should. Sofia, however, is a difficult, selfish, headstrong girl spoiled by her family who has fallen in with a bad crowd.
Esther decides to enrol in a cookery course in London. During her stay, she meets Jorge, a man who will help her to believe that magic and romance really do exist.
