Ángela Rodicio

Ángela Rodicio is a journalist and writer who has worked for over 30 years as a specialist in international politics at TVE. Since the early '90s she has worked as a special correspondent on world events ranging from the fall of the Soviet Union to the first Gulf war. Rodicio has received some of the most prestigious awards in Spain for her journalism, including the Victor de la Serna award and the Cirilo Rodríguez award. Outside of Spain, she has received the Maria Grazia Cutuli Prize from Il Corriere della Sera in 2011 and a UN Correspondents Association award in 2015. In 2016, she received the Espasa Prize for her book Las novias de la Yihad (Jihadi Girlfriends).
