Mariola Cubells is a journalist, audiovisual analyst and expert in communication. For many years she has worked in print media and television, and since 2012 holds the regular slot 'La Ventana' (The Window) on Cadena SER. She writes for a range of outlets such as the Huffington Post, where she interviews guests about their film, TV and music tastes for her weekly column. She also works with El País weekend supplement S-Moda, where she shares her thoughts on topics such as feminism, pop culture, TV and cinema. Her first book ¡Mirame, tonto! (Look at Me, Idiot!) was published in 2003 and she has subsequently published others such as ¿Y tú que miras? (What are You Looking at?), ¿Quién cocina la tele que comemos? (Who Makes the TV We Watch?) and Mentiras en directo (Lying on Camera).
